Hello, all. Greetings from New York’s Hudson Valley, where I’m currently living.
It’s the latest stop in a varied journey. I went to school in four countries starting in India, with time in France, Zambia, and the United States. Smith College let go of me with a BA in French (and a passion for learning other languages) and Brandeis University kindly gave me an MA in Anthropology (with some good tools for learning just about everything else.) Many of my jobs, from computer-programming to fact-checking, were all about precision and reality, until finally I went over to the dark side–writing fiction. My one athletic exploit has been to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, but I must confess, I got pushed up to the summit.
